Position Title: Brand Ambassadors – International
Location: In Your Community or University Campus
Duration: 3 Months (12 hours weekly) or 6 Months (6 hours weekly)
Start Dates: Fall & Spring Semesters
You should be:
- Are passionate about travelling and doing good
- Are connected within your community, your university, student body and or active on social media
- Are motivated to enhance your leadership and marketing skills with a part-time volunteer position promoting the uVolunteer program to your community and the university
You will be joining uVolunteers’ Brand Ambassador program, working with our marketing team to create visibility and brand awareness of the uVolunteer program.
The Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will be to promote our program by street teaming at busy locations on and off campus, at community events, peer-to-peer activities and tapping into student networks, clubs and organisations.
1. Primary responsibility – is to educate and create brand awareness about uVolunteer
2. Secondary responsibility – to recruit, organise and lead a group volunteer vacation
- Other responsibilities are:
- Your primary goal is to educate people about uVolunteer program
- Represent the uVolunteer brand with honesty, integrity, and professionalism
- Help identify suitable locations for promotions within your community and educational institutions
- Share content through existing and newly acquired social networks
- Maintain university campus and local market presence
- Identify new promotion and student recruitment opportunities
- Help on our booths at school fairs and community events
Role:
- The BA position is a marketing position
- You will be working as a marketing coordinator
- Our main marketing method is street teaming, putting up posters in strategic areas and running information sessions about our programs
- An optional project will be to create your own group trip
Target Areas:
- Ant Trails – Places where there are lots of people passing by. E.g. High commute areas, hot restaurant sections & community events
- Single Locations – Perfect corners, university bus stops, metro stations, high pedestrian areas, student union buildings
- Posters Campaigns: Campus and community notice boards
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- A good-spirited and friendly attitude
- Great at networking, mingling, and being an active member of your community and campuses
- Involvement in student and community organizations and activities
- Sales, marketing, & event promotion experience is a definite plus
- Ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives while working independently
- Able to commit for 3 or 6 months
- Creative and skilled in social media usage
